About

Saudi Arabia is a large country located in the Arabian Peninsula, known for its vast deserts, rich oil reserves, and significant role in the Muslim world. Its capital city is Riyadh.

The nation's industrial base is highly developed, predominantly focused on petroleum and petrochemicals, given its wealth of oil. Additionally, sectors like mining, agriculture, construction, and tourism, particularly religious tourism, contribute to its economy.

Arabic is the official language of Saudi Arabia, widely spoken across the country. English is also commonly used in business and diplomatic contexts.

Saudi Arabia's economy is heavily dependent on oil exports, which constitute a major part of its GDP. In recent years, the nation has been investing in diversifying its economy through Vision 2030, aiming to reduce its reliance on oil and develop other sectors such as tourism, entertainment, and technology. Saudi culture is deeply influenced by Islamic traditions, as well as Bedouin customs and practices, seen in its art, cuisine, and social norms.

Saudi Arabia is also known for its historical and religious significance, home to the two holiest cities in Islam, Mecca and Medina, which attract millions of pilgrims annually. The country also possesses various historical sites, modern architectural landmarks, and cultural attractions.
