Entry is not allowed without prior visa
Russian authorities strictly enforce visa and immigration laws. It is required to have a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond the intended stay. Two blank passport pages per stamp are also required. A tourist visa is required for entry. There are no specific vaccination requirements. Upon entry, if carrying $10,000 or more, it must be declared. When exiting, up to $3,000 (or equivalent) can be exported without declaration.
