The same currency restrictions apply when exiting the country. COVID-19 related entry requirements are not applicable to U.S. citizens. It is important to have your entry officially documented by Migraciones, regardless of the point of entry. For exit, you will need to have an entry record, which can be obtained from Migraciones. If you are traveling with minors, additional documentation may be required depending on their nationality and the length of stay.
